Teddy is a teddy bear...loveable and sweet. He is a calm boy that would love to be an awesome house cat!!! Teddy has FIV...What is FIV you ask?...Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is a feline only, slow-acting virus. It is so slow to progress that most FIV+ cats die of old age. A blood test is given to all our shelter cats, but it does not measure the actual virus, it instead records the presence of antibodies to the virus. These would be antibodies that fight the virus and sometimes (20% and up) there is a false positive. Also cats who have been vaccinated against FIV by loving owners, will test positve for FIV antibodies. So if they are ever separated from their owners they may be labeled FIV+ We would love to answer any questions you may have 580-233-xxxx. All cats are current on vaccinations, dewormed, Feluk/FIV tested and either spayed or neutered. The adoption application is available on our website at www.enidspca.org. Our adoption fee is $85 per animal. You must come to our facility to adopt. WE DO NOT SHIP OUR ANIMALS.
